Bare Infinity is a symphonic metal band founded in Athens, Greece, in 2003 by Thomas Goldney, also known as Tomas Papadopoulos, a Greek-English multi-instrumentalist and producer. The band is known for combining epic and orchestral elements with themes related to love, mythology, and emotional resilience. Goldney, a central figure in creating the band's distinctive sound, has composed, arranged, and orchestrated many of their songs, as well as playing guitar and keyboards and contributing backing vocals on some tracks.
In 2014, Ida Elena De Razza joined the group as lead singer and songwriter. Her powerful and versatile voice, combined with evocative lyric writing, brought new energy to the band. She contributed significantly to “The Butterfly Raiser,” the 2017 album that received international recognition, winning awards such as best metal album in independent competitions. The tracks on this album, such as “Race of Destiny,” reflect the alchemy between Goldney's compositions and Ida Elena's profound lyrics.
With an international lineup and a strong artistic presence, Bare Infinity continues to be a reference point for European symphonic metal, attracting a global audience both with their albums and through energetic live performances.
